Brief Answer:
temporal space infection, medication, radiograph

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the swelling in the temporal region is concerned, it can be a temporal space infection secondary to tooth infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can continue amoxicillin along with metronidazole (if you are not allergic). You need to get a radiograph like orthopantomograph done to confirm the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is confirmed we can treat accordingly.
You can upload the images of the swollen area for better diagnosis and treatment plan.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back.
take care.

Metronidazole is an anti anaerobic broad spectrum antibiotic which is very effective in space infections. You need to consult an oral physician and get a prescription and later take it.

Brief Answer:
lymphnode involvement, tooth or ear infection.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply.
The pain behind the ear is less likely to arise from tooth infection. It can be because of lymphades which are inflamed secondary to tooth orear infection. So better consult an otolarygologist and an oral physician and get it evaluated. The medicines prescribed previously are temporary solution. The cause has to be treated so you need to consult a physician.

no it's not that this is from a tooth infection I have been battling and it's not on the outside its on the inside of my neck causing headaches and pain back and forth from there in the pic to my temple region

Brief Answer:
it has nothing to with tooth infection, two separate issues, head aches

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply.
This has nothing to do with the tooth infection. The site you are pointing out has no relation with the tooth infection. The nerve supply is entirely different for both the sites. You might be having two separate issues. The symptoms might be coinciding with both. Even hair follicle infection will not cause head ache. The pain will be localised to the site of infection. Head ache has many causes So You better consult a general physician first and get it evaluated. You need a complete clinical examination to come to a conclusion because of your multiple symptoms and location. So immediately consult a general physician and get it evaluated.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
