Question: My eyes are sore around the edges and somewhat swollen. Also red around the edges. With some mattering. First thought is allergies but have had this a fear days and it's not letting up. Taking antihistamine and eye drops.

Thanks for asking query on this forum.

Most likely you are having Sty.A sty is a red, painful lump near the edge of your eyelid that may look like a boil or a pimple. Sties are often filled with pus. A sty usually forms on the outside of your eyelid. But sometimes it can form on the inner part of your eyelid.
Treatment-
Keep eyes clean.
Apply eye ointment moxifloxacin thrice a day.
Take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice daily along with Tylenol twice daily. Cipro a prescription medicine, so need to see a doctor for complete prescription.
Tab Cetrizine 10mg once daily (anti histaminic)

Take them for 5 days.
You would be fine.
