Suggest Treatment For Suspicious Moles On Skin

Posted on Tue, 18 Aug 2015
Question: Hello, I have three moles that look suspicious to me.

I have had a dermatologist look at all of them and he is not concerned, but i wanted a second opinion.

The two light ones in the photographs have developed the brown middle to them- and the dark one just freaks me out a bit.

Could you let me know if these look suspicious to you?

The derm said he doesnt want to remove them because they will cause massive scars- and he said if im going to obsess over them he will but its unnecessary.

I thought having one more opinion could ease my worries.

Brief Answer:
Need not worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Sorry, for the delay in my response.

I have seen the pictures you attached.

I agree with your dermatalogist, there is no intervention needed. Only if they grown in size, double within a span of 6 months then first you need to get a biopsy test done. Biopsy would give info on the microscopic features depending on which the management can be planned.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

I also have this black spot - i believe is a freckle- it is elevated.. i am not sure if it is under an ingrown hair or something but its very dark and raised a bit- could this be of concern?

I have attached photos of the dark freckle/spot and the sun spot.

Brief Answer:
Not to be concerned

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The lesions in the newly attached images are similar lesions seen in the old images.

Need not worry,

Interventions could be asked for when there is any sort of sudden growth in those lesions.
