Flue:

For Flue you can go with following stretagy

1) Steam Inhalation.

2) Decongestants.(e-r Allegra-D)

3) Stop if you were using any pain or fever meds other than tylenol ..they effect stomach.

4) Take tablet Citrizine 10mg at night .

5) Avoid cold , spicy sour foods and avoid allergens , if you have allergy with anything.

6) You can continue antibiotics if you haven't completed the course yet.

STOMACH PAINS:

1st thing to do in this problem is to avoid things which cause it, specially the food items, most important things to avoid are...!!!

1) Coke pepsi and all fizzy drinks.

2) coffee tea and any thing having caffeine.

3) eat light,easily digestible food items.

4) Avoid much spice.

5) No smoking and alcohol should be used.

6) Avoid pain killers and fever meds if necessary you can take tylenol in lowest possible dose.

SUGGESTIONS:

After lifestyle change , go for meds,

I would start my patients with omeprazole 40mg once daily and prokinetics like metoclopramide twice a day, that usually works.


According to severity and requirement i would add zantact with it for night cover.

Antacids can be used for immediate relief in settings of considerable pain.

There is nothing much to worry i would suggest you to discuss with your doctor about above mentioned meds, They will help.
