Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Sweating, Blocked Nose And Dry Cough
Question: Hello
i wonder if you could help me, four days ago I got a sudden really sore throat and keep going hot and sweating 24 hours later the sore throat had gone and the blocked nose kicked in, 24 hours after the blocked nose I have a dry cough and my chest feels like it's burning and very painful to breathe I am also pregnant (7weeks) and due in for a abortion next week under a local (put to sleep) can this still go ahead? Should I get my chest checked out first?

It means that the viral infection has been complicated with a bacterial infection, most probably, and you may need for sure to check it and start a treatment with antibiotics.
So, yes I would say to check your lungs first and make sure to take treatment as soon as possible.
On the other side, if you start treatment as soon as possible, next week you should be much better, and won't a risk to perform the abortion under local anesthesia.
