Question: my wife has a skin infection that has not responded to mult antibiotics.it presents as mult lesions with draining centers of irreg shape and erythematous borders,the lesions scar when healed but usually return in the same area.she says they itch and burn .a wound culture was taken and returned MSRA staph but did not respond to antibiotics .she has no other medical problems and this skin problem is not contageous.
