Question: I broke into a sweat out of no where felt short of breath and extremely fatigued what can be happening

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

One of the first things to look into with that type of presentation would be a heart issue. A heart arrhythmia like atrial fibrillation may manifest with those symptoms. For that reason an EKG and if the episodes are repeated prolonged EKG monitoring is recommended.

Metabolic issues such as blood sugar, electrolyte, thyroid hormone alterations may also be another cause. For that reason some routine blood tests like blood count, glucose, liver and kidney function, electrolyte panel, thyroid function are advised.

If all those tests result normal then an anxiety disorder may be the cause, panic attacks may commonly present that way.
