Brief Answer:
To consider possibility of worm infestation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms XXXXXXX

The most commonest cause for altered bowel habit associated with pain abdomen in children is Parasitic infestation of intestine. Being a Paediatric Surgeon, I routinely encounter several such cases.

I would suggest you the following

1. Stool routine examination
2. Empirical treatment with anthelminthic drugs for worm infestation
3. Symptomatic treatment of pain with antispasmodics
4. Ensure good intake of water
5. Probiotics
6. Empirical treatment with amoebicidal drug (following stools report).
Discuss all about this your doctor.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Brief Answer:
Irregular periods are quite common

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms

Irregular periods are quite common in teenagers. If there are no clots then bleeding is unlikely to be severe and does not call for any apprehensions.

Do get back to me if you face any issues.

antispasmodic will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms

The stool report is normal and there is nothing to worry about. The pain is likely to be related to menstrual cycle. Symptomatic treatment with antispasmodic will help
Empirical treatment with deworming will be helpful.

rt kidney reveals few tiny calyceal calculi of approx 3 to 4 mm size
lt kidney reveals few small calyceal calculi of approx 4 to 5 mm size
all other things are normal
Impression
bilateral renal calculi with no hydronephrosis or hydroureter.

Now she is having general weakness
but after 3 o clock in the evening headache starts and it increases and reduces after 9 aat night
at that time she has stomach ache also
our doctor took it as urine infection and gave one medicine which make her pass urine more frequently.
pl suggest
doctor
Answered by Dr. Deepak Kishore Kaltari (4 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Ensure adequate intake of water

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms XXXXXXX

The calculi or stones are small in size and are not obstructing the Urinary tract which is obviously absence of Hydronephrosis (enlargement of kidney ) and hydroureter (enlargement of Ureter ).

Ensuring high urine output by increasing the water intake and few doses of diuretics (to increase the urine output) is all that is required. Your physician would have already given diuretics as suggested in the history.

I would suggest you the following

1. Kindly get biochemical test done : Serum Calcium, phosphorus, Uric acid to rule out any biochemical cause for calculi

2. Ensure good intake of water : 1 glass of water 1 hour before every meals and 1 glass of water 1 hour after every meals will ensure adequate intake of water.
weakness is likely to be due to decreased intake of water

3. Give her meals frequently

4. Avoid tomato and spinach in diet.

5. Ensure good sleep : it will take care of headache

6. There is no cause for concern if the biochemical test are normal . She will require follow up scan after couple of months.

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak
