Brief Answer:
need to determine exact cause

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Ear pain and full sensation of the ear can be related to different causes.

(1)The excess wax can be a cause but this should be confirmed by a doctor visit in case there is another cause that needs treating. It can sometimes take 1 to 2 weeks to excess wax to respond to drops but if it is the cause of your pain then the ear may need to be syringed.

(2)infection of the ear- this can be treated with topical antibiotics, if it is present and severe then oral antibiotics would be needed

(3)eustachian tube dysfunction- there is a tube in the ear that has different roles including regularizing the pressure in the ear.
If it is not working well, it can cause a full sensation

This can occur with sinusitis due to allergies or infection, the cold/flu, airtravel

Treatment: (1) it would be best to visit a doctor to determine the exact cause of the symptoms

(2)if this is not possible at this time and you believe that excess wax is the problem then you would need to continue drops, if this brand is not working for you , should try an alternative

Decongestants may also help, not with wax but with reducing the pressure feeling in the ear, these are over the counter

(4)use an oral anti inflammatory pain killer to help with the pain eg naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
