Brief Answer:
About thyroid pathologies:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern!
The thyroid nodules diagnosed in ultrasound may cause hyperthyroidism or over active thyroid. But it may happen that they dot interfere with the thyroid function and there may be a coexisting pathology causing under active thyroid or hypothyroidism.
So the result of the thyroid hormones is very important in your case to make the diagnosis and than decide for the treatment.
Please describe also the actual treatment you are taking for RA. Corticosteroids can alter the thyroid hormones.
So to give you an accurate suggestion please attach all the exams you have done for the thyroid gland and describe the treatment you are taking actually!

Looking forward to help you further!
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
