Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical examination, a chest X ray study and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate), to determine first if it is a bacterial or viral infection.

Do you have fevers?

In case of a bacterial respiratory infection, you may need starting antibiotic therapy. Penicillines and cephalosporines would be safe to be used concomitantly with ticosyn.

Meanwhile I would recommend taking acetylcysteine tablets or syrup which would help with the cough and painkillers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen for the pain and fever.

Hope to have been of hep!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

Brief Answer:
You can safely take Tylenol

Detailed Answer:
Hi again!

There is no interactions between Tylenol and tycoside. So you can safely take it.

Regarding your green discharge, they seem to be related to a bacterial infection.

I strongly recommend you consult with your doctor for the tests I mentioned before.

A trakeal discharge (sputum) bacterial culture would help determine the type of i infection and the proper therapy.

Wishing all the best!

Greetings!
