Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain When Suffering From IBS

default
Posted on Mon, 29 Jun 2015
Question: Hello I have been having severe abdominal pain majority of the time on the left side but it can be transient from below my breast to my pubic bone. I am currently taking pain medication but I would like to give my doctor an idea as to possible conditions. He has given up on me. I have had extensive blood work done. My tests have been a XXXXXXX scan, MRI, 3 ultrasounds , upper and lower GI, gall bladder/liver function test. a vaginal ultrasound and many different blood marker tests. All have come back normal. I do have cancer in my family, my father died of pancreatic cancer in 2008. I do have IBS and have had for 20+ years. The symptoms are more extreme than IBS. I have been in increasing severe abdominal pain for 6 months and the debilitating factor makes it hard for me to do everyday common activities. Any advise would be appreciated.
