Brief Answer:
It could be Upper respiratory tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome to healthcaremagic,

From your symptoms it looks like you have upper respiratory tract infection.

They are usually viral in nature so only symptomatic treatment will suffice.

You can take an anti inflammatory like paracetamol or ibuprofen after checking your dose. It will bring down the inflammation.

For the dry cough you will need a central cough suppressant like dextromethorphan. Please see a doctor for the prescription.

You can also follow some general measures like -
1) Warm salt water gargling 5 times a day.
2) Drink plenty of fluids - 4 litres daily.
3)Avoid air conditioning and fan and cold foods.
4) Get some rest.
5) Give your voice some rest. Do not talk loudly and do not whisper.
6) Do steam inhalation.

If you do not feel better in the next 2-3 days then you may a need a course of antibiotics .

Regards,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi.
