Posted on Mon, 18 Sep 2017
Question: i have had conversations with dr. XXXXXXX about reddness and darkish color in my testicles and an uncomftorable feeling (itching) in my testicles, i am following his advice and using the cream, and noticed that it is helping the color but the itch is still there especially when sitting. i want to know do i have to be concerned that it might be something other then a fungal infection, like some sort of more serious problem with the testicles or that is unlikely?

Brief Answer:
Nothing serious, continue with clotrimazole cream and antihistaminic

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed the attached photographs and can appreciate some redness and scaling in the affected areas.

It looks like fungal infection most likely.
Doesn't seem to be anything serious.

No need to worry.

I would recommend you to continue with Clotrimazole cream and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetirizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Ard 3-4 weeks for symptoms to subside, sertaconazole or luliconazole cream

Detailed Answer:
It will take around 3-4 weeks for symptoms to subside.
You can apply sertaconazole cream or luliconazole cream on the affected areas but these are prescription medicines and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
Testicle size won't change because of the infection.
All the best.
