Brief Answer:
seems to be stress/nutritional deficiencies.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that your daughter is having recurrent canker sores. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any problem related to stomach (pain abdomen or loose stools) ?
Are you on any medications (anti depressants, pain killers) ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on you clinical details, it (canker sores) could be due to stress or nutritional deficiencies or due to intestinal disorders.

I suggest the following measures, to overcome her recurrent sores in mouth.

1. Needs ENT consultation with blood tests (folic acid, iron, b12 levels), Get gastro-enterologist opinion, if necessary endoscopy for acid reflux (hyperacidity can cause mouth sores).

3. Take anti-allergic medication with combination (citrizine + montelukast) daily one tab at bed time for 2-4 months (to cover food allergies)

4. Multivitamins with zinc tabs, daily one tab at bed time for 2 months.

5. avoid sore fruits, spicy diets hot drinks, do brushing with soft brush.

6. Take plenty of water.

7. apply anesthetic preparation containing local applications like clenora thrice daily.

8. Last but not least, stress free life style.

Kindly discuss with your treating doctor, about this instructions and medications, some of the medications, requires medical prescription.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
