Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Lower Abdomen And Back

Question: About 4 weeks ago I began developing a rash on lower abdomen and both left and right sides of lower back, which is starting to spread upwards. I understand medications can cause rashes and after looking up Singular, which I was prescribed in the Fall of 2014, it seems I have a few of the side effects. At first, I didn't think I could develop a reaction after taking a med for a year but is this possible? Also, by simply stop taking it, and the rash goes away, will that suffice in the solution, since I seem to be developing side effects very slowly?

After reading your post, it seems that your symptoms of itchy rash is an allergic rash and medicine induced rash is well known. Disappearance of rash on stopping the medicine confirms that it is induced by it.

I would suggest that you should stop taking the medicine which is triggering it. You should take an antihistamine like Fexofenadine 180 mg once a day for relief. Also get yourself clinically examined and investigated by your doctor for planning further medical management.
