I am praying this is the answer to my months of hell. Does this rash look like lymes to you? it appeared on my arm and then stomach. I soooooo hope this test is the beginning of the end of my health issues. My back is is severe pain constantly, and I started getting migraines. they have me on 4 mgs of ativan a day just to treat my constant symptoms....

Brief answer....given below Detailed answer.... Hello, Thanks for the query. Your rash may be because of lymes, however let us wait for the result. Other symptoms of lymes can be migraine and backache also. As far as your high BP and high HR is concerned,it seems entirely due to your anxiety and that is the reason you are being given Ativan. I would advise you to get tested for hyperthyroidism also. For your anxiety,I would advise you to adopt behavioural therapy along with anxiety self help strategies, because drugs like Ativan are habit forming and help only upto a certain limit. These self help strategies include... Proper sleep. Eating healthy by taking more of fresh fruits, green vegetables and nuts. Avoiding smoking, alcohol and other recreational drugs,if any. Regular aerobic exercises for at least 45 minutes a day. Shed weight if overweight. Practice deep breathing exercises and do yoga and meditation. Gradually you shall be rid of your anxieties. I hope it helps,However you may revert to me for any further query. Best of luck Thanks

Hello, I do agree that such high levels of blood pressure can not be caused by anxiety only. At these levels of high blood pressure, you have to have a proper evaluation by a cardiologist and need anti-hypertensive medications. Severe migraine can result in excessive vomiting which in turn can lead to strain and pains in thoracic region. Proper anti-migraine medicines and analgesics should be able to control your migraine as well as backache. Thanks
