Do you have urinary complaints? Is the uterus protruding out of your vagina? Is it bothering you (heavyness, constipation protruding completely outside the vagina ,backache etc, ? If you have no symptoms or mild symptoms you do not need any surgery.
If it is causing you symptoms then you need treatment.
There are several ways of treating this.
1. It could be with kegel exercises and pessary if you do not like surgery.
2. Removal of uterus along with cervix and vaginal fixation
3. Partial removal of cervix and fixing it with ligaments
4. In young women suspension of uterus back to its position
If it is causing bothersome symptoms then I suggest you go for removal of uterus and cervix with fixation of vagina.
If you have no symptoms, you do not need any surgery.

IN THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF MY CONDITION HAS WORSENED..MY UTERUS ALONG WITH MY BLADDER ARE PROTRUDING..I AM NOT LEAKING BUT MY BLADDER DOES NOT EMPTY, WHICH ALWAYS GIVES ME A FULL FEELING ALL THE TIME..I PLAN ON HAVING A TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY MY QUESTION WAS THE CERVIX..ONE DOCTOR IS USING A ROBOT THAT IS THE SURGERY THAT IS LASTING 5 TO 6 HOURS..THIS SURGERY IS TOTALLY STRESSING ME OUT….
