Brief Answer:
Most likely phimosis/balanitis.

Detailed Answer:

I am sorry to hear about your problem. Most likely this is phimosis or balanitis.

I will assume this is a new problem for you rather than a chronic or repeated problem.

Sometimes the foreskin can get tight from inflammation or low grade infection. Treatment for this is usually prescription strength corticosteroid ointment such as hydrocortisone 2.5%. It is used twice a day for 6-8 weeks. This is used if the tightness has been going on for awhile.

But the tightness may be from a candida yeast infection, causing balanitis (inflammation, infection, of the glans and foreskin). For this, topical antifungals are used, such as clotrimazole, miconazole, or ketoconazole.

Yeast would be more likely to make it itch, although any kind of stretching of skin can cause some itching.

I would advise that you go in to be seen so that you can get prescription strength medication.

I hope this information helps.
