Well yes, if there is still high bp despite these medications than something should be changed definitely. Diuretic such as clortalidone is reasonable solution and it can and usually is used together with some beta blocker. So it should be tried since bp management depends from man to man and not every man react same to certain medicine so you need to find most optimal medicines or combination of medicine individually in consultation with your doctor.
