Brief Answer:
This is probably transient and need no action now!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain. The symptoms are suggestive of minor trauma to the structures of the ear. With pressure like during yawning and coughing, the increased pressure causes muscle tension which is responsible for this pain.

There is really nothing so alarming that needs to be addressed right away. I will suggest that you go ahead and try Tylenol and Ibuprofen to relief the discomfort. This would fade away sooner than you would have imagined. Also, yawn and cough with modesty and avoid violent episodes.

In all, this is probably caused by minor trauma. Symptoms would regress over 48-72hours. It doesn't really require any special medical attention at this time. Let e know after this time frame how well you are doing.

I hope that this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
