default

Question: 8 years ago I broke my forearm and had surgery to repair it with a plate and screws. On Friday while lifting something I felt a pop in the area were the break was. I have had a sharp pain in the area sense then. It hurts most when I rotate my arm and is hurts when pressure is put on it. I have been taking tylenol and ibuprofen, elevating and icing it. The swelling has gone down but the pain has been getting worse.

Brief Answer:
Xrays should be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
I think this is just pulled tendon or small muscle rupture, however it would be good to do xrays if pain persist to see possible screw dislocation or refracture. But you can wait and see in next few days in what direction it goes. Wish you good health. Regards
