Brief Answer:
suppress coughing and sneezing, voltaren gel, another oral pain killer

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

IF you are coughing or sneezing frequently then you may want to consider a cough suppressant/anti histamine/decongestant mixture to help reduce these symptoms .The decongestant aspect would treat a post nasal drip of mucus if present which would further reduce the cough.

If the coughing/sneezing are reduced, then this would prevent the pain that occurs with these actions and also give the ribs time to heal.

These medications would be found over the counter in many cough/cold or allergy medications eg ricotuss
You can get the anti histamine/decongestant together(benadryl d, claritine d, zyrtec d) and add the cough suppressant (dextromethorphan----eg delsym).

In addition, voltaren gel to rub on the area may also help as well.

Medications such as naproxen, ibuprofen, voltaren-- would add to pain relief but you would need to be careful using these and aspirin as well.
Increased risk of irritating the stomach, increased risk of bleeding with the combination

If you are not comfortable adding one of these, you can add tylenol. It is from a different drug family and would not affect the stomach or bleeding

Summary: suppress the coughing and sneezing, voltaren gel, consider another oral pain killer

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
