Suggest Treatment For Non Specific Urethritis

Posted on Wed, 10 Sep 2014
Question: Had unprotected sex on 1st August, within 12 hrs visited a general physician. Doctor gave me Azithromycin 2g , Flagyl 5 tabs, Doxycycline 2 caps x 7 days. Finished the course and all seemed OK. After few days had burning in penis and while urinating. Saw another doctor ( STD specialist ), was given Azithromycin 2g and took it. Was relieved for about 4 days. After 4th day burning in penis and urine recurred.
In the meantime tested negative for Herpes, Gonorrea, Chlamydia.
Tested positive for VDRL but tested negative for Syphilis specific.
Nothing found in Mid stream Urine test too.
Doctor says it is Non Specific urethritis, and am currently on Doxycycline 10 days dosage ( 2 x 100mg caps per day ).

Please advice from your point of view.
