Question: helloo im having some muscle balls in my back after being diagnosed with an herniated disk, between the homeplate and the column.

I have noted your symptoms and also your diagnosis.

Herniation of disc is a common problem and can be easily treated.

In the initial phase, treatment consists of medications such as pregabalin or gabapentin capsules to relieve neuropathic pain.

In addition, physiotherapy with back and neck extension exercises are also helpful.

Muscle balls can be clinically examined, and if any doubt remains, can be further evaluated by ultrasound or MRI scan of the region. They are usually noit of any concern.
