Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and i have understood it

The medications that you are using are US FDA approved remedies, for male pattern hair loss and i suggest you to continue with it.

You may add a ketoconazole based shampoo to what you are already using.
Ketoconazole exerts a local effect in male pattern hair loss.

Minoxidil should be used twice daily in recommended quantity, on thoroughly cleaned scalp.
It should be not be applied on wet scalp or else it may get diluted. After hair wash you should airdry scalp before using minoxidil.
Avoid hail oil while using minoxidil.

Oral finsteride inhibits enzyme 5 alpha reductase present in hair follicles. This enzyme is the main culprit that is responsible for thinning in androgenetic alopecia.

Response is usually evident in 6-8 months.

Treatment is long term.
