Suggest Treatment For Lung Infections Along With Chest Pain

Question: Hi I'm on macrodantin 100mg nightly due to constant uti but last couple of days feel like I've lung infection cough green phlegm blood earlier in thick mucus just once today. Burning chest on & off & pain in lung should I stay on macrodantin

Lung infections in addition to chest pain would cause berthing difficulties and fever. This is absent and I would rather prefer you monitor and report any other concerning symptoms to me for further review and insights.

Macrodantin is specifically for urinary infections and cannot treat lung infections. Though you are advised to remain on it, should we confirm an information, we would need to obtain a script from your doctor to treat any possible infection.
