Suggest Treatment For Lung Cancer In An Elderly Person

default
Posted on Tue, 27 Dec 2016
Question: My mother is 91 years old. Her lung cancer was diagnosed when she was in a hospital for double pneumonia. Even though I have her power of attorney, I was never told about the diagnosis. When she went home, she had home health care and now hospice. I learned the diagnosis from a home health care professional. We have been unable to learn what stage it is in. Also, my brother and I decided not to tell her until we learn the stage. We have repeatedly called her primary care physician to get that answer and he hasn't returned our calls. The hospital doctors recommended no treatment. I learned that when I picked up her records.

Brief Answer:
Please upload CT scan of the Chest

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

I can certainly understand your concern.

I require reports to be uploaded to determine the type and stage of lung cancer .

For this I require one major report CT scan of Chest +/- Histopathological report.

This will help me to guide you on possible therapeutic options.

Thank you.
