Brief Answer:
Paraesthesia

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The sensations and symptoms you are referring to are known as paraesthesia. The numbness and tingling that you described required that renal and liver function tests be done. Fasting blood sugar, HBA1C ,Thyroid profile and electrolytes especially calcium should have been checked. If all the investigations were normal then you can relax. I hope your doctor screened you for the above labs that I mentioned.

Empiric therapy with duloxetine or gabapentin B 1, 6 and 12 supplementation can be done if the tingling sensations are bothersome and affect daily life activities. Vitamin D supplementation should be done if the levels are low.

If despite the above the symptoms persist then a neurological examination would be required. Possibly an NCS or EMG can also be advised to determine the cause of persistent paraesthesia.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
