Brief Answer:
Severe tinea a fungal infection...

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear XXXXXXX XXX,

Thank you for your contact to health care magic.

I read, understand your concern and seen the attached pictures.

I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.

It is a severe tinea (fungal) infection. It is very common in summer and early monsoon.

It will not respond to topical therapies only, because it is very severe lesion.

So in my opinion you should also take the oral fluconazole tablet 150 mg once a day for two to three weeks is necessary. Please take the drug under your doctors guidance.

Along with the oral therapy topical itraconazole application is also necessary.

Wear cotton only garments and avoid sweating as much as possible.

Take the bath & change the garments two times daily.

I will be happy to answer your further concern here or you can ask me on bit.ly/DrArun.

Thank you,
Dr Arun Tank
