Brief Answer:
erythrasma and its treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query.
I understand your concern.
If the diagnosis of Erythrasma is confirmed, then in my such patients, I prefer to advise oral antibiotics like erythromycin and topical fucidic acid cream.
One important differential for erythrasma is a condition called Tinea cruris.
Treatment for Tinea is oral and topical antifungals like clotrimazole cream and tablet fluconazole.
Kindly upload the images so that I can visualize and help you to my best.
I hope it helps.
Stay healthy.

Here i have attached some photographs

I been having this since months . My skin is sweaty in nature . Patches are red in colour first but once i notices i been used to bath daily with hot water (as hot as i can tolerate). this seem wired but gives some what relief. even i tried anti-fungal powder but didn't work !! My profession seeks doing work by sitting almost all the day in office chair cuisine which leads contusion exposure of sweat .i think this is the root cause for my problem . though i maintained skin dry by wearing loose cotton wears i couldn't resist itch.

Brief Answer:
tinea is more likely possibility

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome back.
I have seen the attached photographs.
As per details and from the pics, it seems that you are suffering from a condition called Tinea cruris et corporis.
It is fungal infection of skin characterised by red colored or hyperpigmented itchy rash with fine white scales over the surface spreading from the margins.
Various precipitating factors are Diabetes Mellitus, excess sweating, hot humid weather.
I will advise you to get your blood sugar levels done.
In such cases, I prefer to advise topical antifungals like clotrimazole and oral fluconazole to my patients.
Avoid excess sweating if possible by staying in ventilated room.
Keep the body clean and dry properly after bath.
Preferably wear loose cotton clothes.
Take regular course of antifungals for complete cure.
Visit your doctor so that he can examine you and give you prescription accordingly. You can share my opinion with him. I hope it helps.
Take care
