Question: I've had a pinching off and on in my left chest area.. comes & goes for months. I've seen my cardiologist, I've had X-ray, ekgs, electrocardiogram and all normal. I had bloodwork done and my platelets were a little elevated per the lab being 382, and my wbc were 11.8. I had a virus the week before so they are retesting in one month. Next up is a CAT scan. what do you think the pain could be from?

Brief Answer:
Everything is normal. Nothing to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You x ray, ECG, Echo everything is normal. Your platelet count is at high normal range. Slightly high platelet count is also normal and nothing to worry about that. Your pain may be due to some gastric problem or muscle pain. Pain killers and pentoprazol can be taken. Nothing to worry. No need to investigate further. Just be relaxed.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
