Brief Answer:
1317 vitamin b12 is high but NOT clinically significant. No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

I have read your query and understand the concern.

Your blood levels of VIT B 12 is high (1317) but it does not have much clinical significance since these levels become significant only if they are very high like in the range of above 2500 or 3000.

US FDA has not approved any toxic upper levels of vitamin B 12 and as far as from my clinical experience, this mildly elevated level has NOT attached to any bad consequence in the body.

However there can be various reasons for your high levels like increased meat or dairy products consumption or use of certain drugs like dilantin or vitamin b12 injection or increased intake of B12 supplementation like in your case.

So,you should stop taking further vitamin B12 supplements and also avoid meat and other animal products.

Check your vitamin B12 level again after 2 months and most probably it will come down to normal.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
