Brief Answer:
Try lactulose suppositories

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
For fever and throat pain you can continue the antibiotic which your doctor has given.
1. For constipation
Temporary relief can be obtained with lactulose suppositories.
I usually prescribe half of lactulose suppository to be inserted into anus.
This should be done only if constipation is severe and child is struggling not passing stools for more than 3 to 5 days.
2. For long term solution Two cups of vegetables, two cups of fruits and atleast 1 litre water everyday is essential. This will ensure he gets enough fibre and water required for soft stools.
Restrict milk to not more than 2 glasses per day.
It is better to check his thyroid levels if not already done.
3. Weight is still in the normal range. Only if he passes stools easily, his intake will improve.
No need to give any regular medicine.
Wishing your child good health.

Thank you Doctor for your reply.
Some more info about my son.
He drinks more than a liter of water and also regular fruits and vegitables are there in his menu. He is not taking milk and roti for last 1 year as doctor told not to give him because of stomach problem ( irregular stool) Some time in night we give him ISOMEAL (lactic free milk). Fish, egg and chicken is present in his menu. Last week onward he started going to playschool. He is very active in nature. Only bad habit is what ever finds put into his mouth so may be because of that stomach infection is regular for him.

He is also having G6PD deficiency

Brief Answer:
check thyroid levels

Detailed Answer:
That is good.
Increase fruits and vegetables. Instead of juice cut fruits have more fibre. Rest of the diet is good.
Check thyroid levels.
G6PD has no relation to constipation.
Wash his hands and toys frequently.
