Question: I am 48 yr old female with vaginal bleeding. I havent had a period in 3 years. I had 2 FSH tests that show im through menopause 3 yrs ago. All of the sudden with no symptoms i began having vaginal bleeding that is quite heavy. I have back pain and I'm exhausted. I had thyroid cancer 5 years ago and had a full thyroidectomy. The cancer did not leave the parameters so no follow up necessary, only ultrasounds every 6 months. Im quite worried.

Brief Answer:
The situation now is not related to thyroid cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sorry to mearn about your difficult situation.
Regarding to hemorrhage it needs to be examined further. Try to keep yourself calm until you have a prooer diagnosis.
The thyroid cancer does not need to be followed up regularly if it resulted to be encapsulated without extracapsular extension. It is considered resected without need for further treatment.
