Suggest Treatment For Dizziness While Having Sinus Infection

default
Posted on Mon, 4 Jul 2016
Question: Woke up yesterday morning feeling dizzy. Having dizzy spells off and on especially with I look down, try to get up quickly. Suspect a sinus infection because I have a lot of sinus pain and pressure also. However, there is no discharge/runny nose. The dizziness is awful. Having to grab a wall occasionally to keep from falling. Have used neti pot last night and this morning. Have taken a few decongestants does not seem to help.

Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Dizziness is common association with sinus infections and nothing to worry about. All one needs is some antivert and supportive care and preventive measures to prevent fall and tripping during these 2 to 4 weeks of dizziness. Just get to a doctor, let them run a PNS x ray to sort out extent of sinusitis, prescribe you with adequate medications including decongestants, antibiotics and painkillers. Also home remedies like warm comforting beverages, steam inhalation, plenty of fluids intake etc wil help.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
