Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Helathcaremagic.

I have gone through your query. However, I would need you to enumerate and elaborate on the problems that you are facing. Merely mentioning 'symptoms of CNS shutdown' does not help. Also mention how long it has been occurring. It would also help if you could upload the medical notes that you have.

I would await your response. Based your inputs I will guide you further.

Ok, I am having difficulty breathing that you know, muscle weakness, difficulty co-ordinating movements in thumbs due to ridgity and general rigidity in body and gait, difficulty thinking and focusing and remembering, facial numbness and tingling in fingers and drowsiness and feeling my throat closing over and having difficulty swollowing due to this. My health has been declining for the last few months since about mid July. Hope this helps

Brief Answer:
Could be due to demyelination or due to neuromuscular problems

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for elaborating. I have gone through the mentioned details. You need not assume the symptoms to be due to CNS shutdown. The mentioned problems could originate from demyelinating diseases. However, a detailed neurological evaluation is needed and I would strongly insist you to visit a neurologist for the same. It is only based on the findings that suitable treatment can be planned. I would really appreciate if you could upload the medical notes after visiting a neurologist.

I would await your response.

As of now you can try taking methylcobalamine (a B vitamin) supplements and see if it helps.

Do not hesitate in contacting me back in case of further queries.

Great, thank you. Is there a specific dosage or should I let the pharmacist direct me on the dosage?

Brief Answer:
Could be due to reflux

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. It does not seem concerning to me. You are probably suffering from acid reflux. Take some liquid antacid.when required. Take omeprazole once daily before breakfast. I hope it will provide relief. About the popping sensation in the ear, taking steam inhalation through nose and mouth should help.

Let me know if I could help further.
