Brief Answer:
Needs MRI investigation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, greetings!
Thanks for posting your query on hcm.
Constant back and neck pain certainly needs to be investigated. Radiculopathy is common in your age, which involves compression of nerves thus causing constant back pain.
I suggest you to get yourself evaluated by a MRI scan and X rays.
In the meanwhile you can go for hot water fomentation, physiotherapy will help as well.
For the pain, you may take an over the counter pain reliever like IBUPROFEN 400 mg.
For any further doubts/ clarifications, please get back to me.
Regards,
Dr. Sonia
