Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pain In The Upper Arm And Shoulder

default
Posted on Wed, 11 Jan 2017
Question: I have chronic muscle and joint problems. Currently there are several muscles in my right upper arm and shoulder. This problem seems to have developed and worsened over the last month or so and I can't remember any single incident or trauma to cause the problem. NSAID's, muscle relaxers, heat and cold, aren't giving any lasting pain relief. I won't take Rx pain killers. Any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
Get blood test and xray done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

For perfect diagnosis to be made, get serum RA factor, serum uric acid, fasting blood sugar, ESR, CRP done and send me the report.

You have already taken painkillers but these are not prove helpful for you.

Although you have mentioned that you don't want to take medication but, still I want you to have cap. indomethacin25mgs thrice a day, cap.pregabalin75mg + methylcobalamine750mcg at night, these are also very usefully for you.

So, I advise you to have these medication till your test reports come.

Don't loose hope, be positive in life.
