Question: My husband has a rash on his calf that has spread looks like a burn but is not he also has tingling in his foot and at first said only that ankle and foot was swelling now says both are

I can understand your concern regarding the skin lesions your husband is having but its difficult to point specific diagnosis in absence of clinical examination.
From the history it seems be either insect bite reaction or herpes zoster but definitive diagnosis rests upon clinical examination.
