they itch when i go outside in heat. I went with my family to a theme park and zoo. so two days in a row i was outside in the sun. I were and kept applying sunblock. we returned on Monday. I noticed this rash on my hands thursday night. It has since moved up towards my arm. I feel as if i am having a flair up my SI joints are very inflamed.

Brief Answer:
Sun induced allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

You seem to be developing photo dermatitis or a sun induced allergic reaction .
Apply a topical steroid cream like cortisone cream over the affected area twice daily.
Take some oral antihistamines like levocetrizine daily at night to reduce the associated itching .
Use a medicated sunscreen regularly before going out in the sun .
You might need a course of oral steroids if the allergy tends to persist.

Brief Answer:
Not related to lupus

hi again

No,this photosensitive reaction does not seem to be related to lupus in any way.
This is simply an acute skin reaction to sun exposure and will get better with treatment soon .
