Suggest Treatment For Bloating And Early Menstruation
Question: Hi,
I have been having stomach bloat. I look pregnant at times but am not.
I am a 43 year old woman with one child. My last period came a week early (21 days from my last one) while I was away in a foreign country on vacation. It's been a week since it started and my period has not ended. The blood started as slight at the beginning but has gotten heavier over these past 7 days.
I have no fever but have slight cramps at times. I also have euroterocyl (sorry for the misspelling) which also causes pain as the tube between my bladder and kidney is pinched and I can't always empty my bladder.
Am worried that this bloating and early period could be something serious.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
Stomach bloating and early period in your case could be due to stress and hormonal imbalance.
As you are having problem of ureterocele( I assume with history) the pain and surgical procedure may also affect your menstrual cycle.
At your age hormonal changes are also causing menstrual disturbances.
But if you have persistent heavy menses then get your pelvic ultrasound along with thyroid profile to rule out the cause of heavy menses like fibroid,polyp,PID and thyroid disorder.
For heavy menses,you can take iron tablets and trapic tablet after consulting your treating doctor.
