Brief Answer: Sitz bath. Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX Hope you are in good health. Hemorrhoid pain is best managed by sitz bath apart from drugs. Place some warm water with an antiseptic liquid in a water tub and sit on it, making sure, your anus sinks into it. A 5 min sitting will contract the engorging veins and reduce bleeding as well as pain. This is the most effective natural means of managing hemorrhoids. Also, take more fiber at night time and use some purgative/laxative like liquid paraffin that makes stools liquidyand softer for easy tissue repair. A RULE OF THUMB: Unless thrombosed, hemorrhoids do not cause pain. So check out if they are really hemorrhoids or something like a bleeding fissure-in ano. Hope this helps.
