Crocin DS contains 240 mg of paracetamol per 5 ml of syrup while crocin contains 120 mg/5ml.
The usual dose of paracetamol is 10-20 mg/kg/dose (60 mg/kg/day).
But the toxic dose at which side effects are seen,is much higher(8-10 times).
The average weight of 2 year old child is 12-14 kg.So the dose of crocin ds would be around 20 mg/kg/dose three times a day(that is 6 ml of crocin ds).
I won't get overly worried as the dose is almost within normal limit and it is not the toxic dose.
