Suggest Safe Alternative To Vicodin For Pain Management

default
Posted on Tue, 8 Apr 2014
Question: Vicodin worked for my pain management. I took 2, sometimes 4 a day. I like staying active and enjoying life. Now that it is off the market, I was precribed Norco, which was a disaster, it left me hazy, unsteady, and a bit brain challenged. My doctor switched me to a different brand, disaster, then to percosec, disater. I never used any tylonal and regret the FDA doubting my good judgment. I know there are more of us out there, what on earth can we do to get pain relief and not be on the sidelines of life?

Brief Answer: you can try tramadol and acetaminophen combination Detailed Answer: hi, it is sad to hear that the changed medicine is not suiting you to your comfort. all the medicine that you have been started after the discontinuation of vicodin have similar salts as were in vicodin. Presently if these medicines do not seem to be working for you, you can obtain permission to get medicine with a combination of either acetaminophen along with tramadol ( to be taken three times a day) or aceclofenac ( to be taken twice daily). these can also be combined with Gabapentin 300 mg taken once at night to improve the benefits. hope yo get some relief with this advice.
