Thanks for contacting HCM. It is not normal to lose your ability to get and maintain erections at your age. The injury to the left inguinal area could be an inguinal hernia that is compressing on nerves and the vascular area of your penis. I recommend you seek medical attention so they can check the injury.

Brief Answer:
yes over use can cause erectile problems and inguinal pain

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for returning to HCM with more information.

If you have been engaging in excessive amount of sex recently then yes the extra pressure on your penis and inguinal muscle will definitely cause pain and difficulty with erections. I recommend giving it time to rest and see if that helps improve the pain and improve erections.

Brief Answer:
OTC viagra like medications

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your question

There are some over the counter Viagra like medications but they have not been studied and may not help. I would recommend that you seem a doctor to prescribe either Cialis for everyday use or Viagra for intermittent dosing. This will help improve blood flow to your penis and improve your erections.
