Question: I have pain on my right side. under my right breast. It hurts when I move and I have difficulty breathing. I have very slight fever of 99.9. I am working 14 to 16 hour days and ride for 30 minutes on a bus with extremly cold air conditioning. It hurts worse at night when I get on the bus, then for the rest of the night I am in pain.

Brief Answer:
The chilled air conditioning seems to be responsible.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have carefully gone through the details provided and understand your concerns. I think that the chilled air conditioning is the source of your problems. Low temperatures cause blood vessels to constrict, thus reducing the blood flow to skin and even the muscles and thus accounts for your symptoms. The slight rise in temperature could be an effect of this resultant muscle fatigue.

You need to use adequate warm clothes. Also get your thyroid profile checked. Use of some muscle relaxants (prescription medicines) or simply acetaminophen/paracetamol (over the counter) should provide relief.
