Brief Answer:
You can take pregabalin capsules.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and they are suggestive of neuropathic pain. For relief, you should start pregabalin or gabapentin capsules. Local ointment application may not help much.

If symptoms persist for a few days, then, nerve conduction studies may be done to determine, if there is any nerve damage due to the injection.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

Thank you for the message. Nerve damage or what did i hear you saying. I do feel relieve some times on the leg when i rub the injection site, i mean the pain goes down, but i feel it much if i sit on the toilet seat on my hip. What can be done to manage it like home remedy before i go to the hospital tomorrow. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Do not apply pressure on the affected area.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

The nerve injury is minor or partial and hence, there is no need to worry.

As of now, you should not put a lot of pressure on the affected area. Otherwise, no action is needed from you side at present.

You would get better with medications.

Best wishes,
