Suggest Remedy For Headache And Fever During Pregnancy

Question: My daughter has had a headache and a fever and is in her first trimester of pregnancy. She is waiting on her doctor to call back. I told her to go to the emergency room if the doctor doesn't get back with her today. She had bacterial meningitis when she was in college. I may be jumping the gun but what will happen to the baby and how will my daughter do if this is caught early?

Viral fever is very common and we should always think about common things first. Please do not get worried. Bacterial meningitis usually presents with high grade fever, head ache and vomiting. Patients will be extremely toxic with altered mental status.

I recommend Tab Acetaminophen ( paracetamol) for the fever. Please see a doctor to get blood tests as soon as possible.
