Thank you for posting on HCM.
I can understand your concern regarding the skin lesions.
From your history, it seems pretty obvious that you must be having some kind of drug rash but still for definitive diagnosis and better management, I would insist you to post me some clinical pictures.
You can post pictures on this page or You can mail pictures to YYYY@YYYY

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX

Thank you for the response for my query regarding the black spots on my body.
I have attached pictures of the black spots for your reference.

Below is the list of medications I have taken in past :-

1) First time this FDE (black spots) appeared on my body during October 2014 after fever. I took these medicines for fever:- Tab ATM (500 mg), Tab Cetone, Tab Meftagesic
These medicines didn’t suited and black spots erupted on my body. Then Doctor changed the medicines:- Tab Zinetao (150), Tab Omna (10 mg). These were not able to control the rashes and then I switched to homeopathic medication.

2) Second time, the problem of FDE came in February 2015, when I took Cetirizine tablet for cold. I took in night time and next morning, the rashes were there on my whole body.
I consulted dermatologist and he prescribed - Clonate Ointment and Kojitin gel.

These has cured my rashes but the black spots are still there on my body. (see attached pics). Please advise suitable medicines.
Thank you,
doctor

Brief Answer:
Topical potent corticosteroid and triple combination

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thank you for the pictures.
Its definitely seems like FDR and the dark spots you are now having is called post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is pretty common after such skin rash.
Such hyperpigmentation are very challenging to treat but with proper and regular treatment fairly satisfying results can be obtained.
In my patients, I generally prefer application of cream containing potent corticosteroid and salicylic acid 3% twice a day and a triple combination cream containing hydroquinone, tretionoin and mometasone at night time. Usually the medications are gradually tapered over 4-6 weeks.
These medications should be used only after a consultation with dermatologist and these medications should be strictly avoid on sensitive areas like genitals, face etc.
Use a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or more every time you go out in sun.
Make sure you dont take any medications without prescription and follow the drug list given by your dermatologist to prevent such episodes of FDR again
Let me know if you require any more assistance from my side.
Thank you

Cannot specify brand names

Detailed Answer:
I am sorry XXXXXXX as per the guidelines of this forum I cannot prescribe you or specify brand names and since you are having history of drug reactions it's for your own best interest that you consult a dermatologist in person and discuss the treatment I have highlighted.
Hope you got my point here,
Take care
